The main narratives of the season were Ryan’s rise and fall from power, dealing with his failed attempt to modernize Dunder Mifflin with a fancy new website; Michael being a victim of an abusive relationship with Jan, and trying to get back out into the dating world; Dwight and Angel’s relationship is strained when Dwight mercy killed Angela's cat; and Pam and Jim are finally together and grow closer and closer as the season goes on.
On July 26, 2020, I watched The Office: Season 4 and it was so awesome I finished it on the same day but I did not expect the first episode of a new season to start out with Michael hitting Meredith Palmer I was like “Holy Mother of God What in the actual fuck just happened it went by so fast I have to rewind it” and Michael announced that he hit Meredith with his car to the employees and Ryan Howard is the new corporate and Meredith won’t forgive Michael and Dwight killed sprinkles and turns out Meredith has rabies and Pam and Jim Kiss again, and we get their reaction on that video and Michael makes a fun run for curing rabies and I got a kick when Pam opens the door to give him papers but Michael has no underwear on so, it’s his blurred penis I got a kick out of it and Jim makes fun of that by taking his shirt off on camera and The Fun Run starts and Michael passes out after he crossed the finished line because of a lack of water “kind of like me in a way because I always turn down water because my big sister and my keep on offering me water and I refuse” and ends up in the hospital where Meredith forgives him.
Officially, Jim and Pam are together and now everyone knows and Ryan returns and Jim tells Pam about Dwight and Angela but Pam already knew. Everyone wants the logo to go into the corner of the screen and I remember that in my childhood, and it finally went into the corner, and Meredith returns and Computer challenges Dwight to who can make more sales and Dwight beats the computers. Michael has a second job as we get to see the Schrute farms, and we meet Mose Schrute and everyone finds out Michael has a second job and Michael quits the second job. Stanley got a job offer at Utica for more money and he accepts it and Michael, Dwight, Jim goes to Utica and Jim gets caught by Karen and turns out Stanley is staying. I found it absolute bullshit that they would read Michael’s private journal in public and everyone got a copy I was like “do these people even know the definition of privacy is” I was full of rage. Michael, Dwight, Andy goes to the party in New York and Ryan is drunk and on the other hand, the Dunder Mifflin employees are trapped cause the gate is lock and Toby jumps the fence and jogged home, and the cleaning people open the gate. Michael goes to a job fair and I was like “ahh Job Fairs reminds me of my childhood” on the other hand Jim is on probation with Andy at a golf course and Michael insults the other jobs and Jim returns. Toby is leaving Dunder Mifflin but what was weird in my mind was “Michael hates Toby so much and yet he still wants to throw a party for Toby?” and we meet Holly Flax the new HR and Pam is going to New York for three months because she entered The Pratt School of Design and Michael got a rock as a gift to Toby and to see Ryan escort by police officers I was like “What in the actual fuck is going on” then Oscar explains and Andy proposed to Angela and then Phyllis caught Dwight x Angela at least the desks covered the bottom half and Dwight’s stare at the end reminds me of something Horror Movie.
